Lost a Family Member Tonight

She had a good run and made it to 12 years old. I came home after picking up my girlfriend to find my dog on my porch where she would always wait for me to get home. The only thing that really bothers me is that I found her when she was convulsing.

I had a lot of good years with her. I will miss her. The worst part is that she won't be around to greet me when I get home.:(

I have two female German (what else?!) Shepards, 7 and 9. My wife is so attached to the 7 year old, I dread when she goes. Godspeed my friend.

I send my condolences. If anything happened (knock on wood nothing bad does) to my or actually my parent's just turned 7 years old right now words I would feel a huge loss, ecspecially considering I do not see him often now that I am in college.

Anyway, remember all the good times or just feel glad that she still had a good home and still a great family.

Did she have epilepsy? I used to have a dog with it and it was so sad watching her have random seizures.. We had to put her down early.

No pics of your pooch ? :)

lost my 2 chows both after 15 yrs old in the last 2 yrs
I know pretty much the feeling...
best way I got thru it was to keep remembering
all the great yrs and time my girls where here with me
I celebrated their lives with friends and swapped stories
about each one after their passing. It was uplifting to
say the least :)
Youll get thru this :o

These are the last two most recent pics I have of her. I really miss her a lot.

Your SVX liked her, it's smiling. All the best and try to remember, she is in a better place.
