Rant: Lied to me right up to the end.
 

This rant starts about 3.5 years ago when I bought the replacement stereo system for my SVX. They sold me a 3 year warranty which turned out to be a 2 year warranty. About 2 months before the 3 years was up my amp failed and I brought it in.

That was in April this year. The whole time they would flipflop between saying they would fix it and saying I had to fix it. The salesman who sold it to me ended up quitting and his replacement told me they were going to pay for it using petty cash ($130 - I saw a brand new amp just like mine on ebay sell for less).

Now the store is shut down (both locations in Winnipeg) and I'm without an amp. They left a number to call with inquiries. Before I got a chance to call them I get a call from a shipping company saying they have a package for me from them. Did they actually fix it?? :eek:

I go pick it up and low and behold....it's not fixed. WTF!?! What am I supposed to do with a broken amp?? So now I have this paperweight, no company to fix it and approx 8 months of my life wasted in effort.

To add to this, I was given the option to buy a newer amp for a good deal from one of their competitors. I held out on this in hopes mine would be fixed. I find out now the original salesperson now works at this location. After what I've already been through with him I'm never buying from him or anybody who hires him. :mad:
