Thanks for posting that Earl. In reality we really don't have a lot of information on non USA cars.

A few things will need to be changed and adjusted. For instance the trim levels that say 'LsL' or 'Lsi', these are US trim levels and have no meaning in Europe in particular.

For JDM cars originating [or currently residing] in Japan the trim levels will be:

• Version L
• Version E
• S40
• S40ii
• S3
• S4

For most if not all European markets there would have been only one trim level. Basically because of the exceptionally high list price charged for the car, the SVX came "fully loaded". All Europe markets would have got leather seats, cruise and abs. As standard. From what I understand in the launch year of '92 driver's airbag was optional, in subsequent years standard. Phase 2 [non black roof 95+] SVXes had 2 airbags as standard.

I am not aware of any European market being offered the Front Wheel Drive SVX, and it's my belief it was never offered in Europe. If any European or World owners have a FWD model SVX, please chirp up and give us details. :)

Since getting my car back in November, I've been trying to confirm how many SVX's were sold as new vehicles here in New Zealand. Well today I finally have an answer, 34. Yep that's it 34 since the first one in 1993 to the last in 1997. Unfortunately their old records don't break the information into colour or specific model, although I believe that there was only one model/spec that was modified to meet Australian Design Rules (ADR) which was required at that time.

Has anyone else heard of any other counts from other countries? Like Japan?

I believe James had figures from Subaru Australia that there were around 250 sold here in Australia.

Earl, my car is a 94, the original color code is 406 (confirmed it through the tag on the chassis). Are you sure this belongs to 95~97 cars?
And it is originally a two tone car (black over 406 silver).

And just for the record (if it interests you), the total number of SVXi imported by Subaru Lebanon was 23. The rest (including my car) came from the Gulf region (KSA, Kuwait, UAE)
