Automatic transmissions in STI?
According to Subaru UK...
The STi has indeed just become available in the Japan home market with a Sportshift auto gearbox. That's because auto uptake is much much higher there than it is here. There aren't any plans to make this box available to export markets but what interests us, at Subaru UK, is that it's an auto box able to handle soooooo much torque. Keith<3 |

weak sauce - EVO X gets a Twin Clutch SST paddle-shifted 6-speed tranny.
the 5EAT is nice, but Subaru is lagging behind. |

Supposedly there is a 5 speed Tiptronic Subaru tranny... Came across this in the Select Monitor once:
