Most important post ever on Subaru-SVX.net

Anyway I bought one and me and my dad installed it on my 02 Subaru outback. The thing really works power wise! My dad pointed out that we should put it AFTER the air travels thru the air filter which would destroy the Vortex this thing is creating. It made alot of sense in theory if this thing really works.

Another thing to note is that one person claimed it drained thier fuel economy by 25%. Anyway it's very possible since im still doing a good test on this product. I have kept a very strict and tight records on my outback's fuel economy on Gasbuddies.com, for me it's www.Phillygasprices.com which helps you save a little fuel logbook onto the internet (shows MPG only when you fuel up all the way). anyway here is that chart also and will keep everyone updated! Im very excited about all of this!

I am almost certain this is working since I got the car I never put any air in the tires or anything else but this generator!!! Anyway as you can see the results do vary from city to highway driving. Today we took a trip down Ocean City NJ and back (July 24th). This is freaking amazing numbers if you ask me, I did alot of highway driving at 55mph when I was getting only 22.72 MPG with the A/C on (which we also did today the 24th). We got stuck in traffic coming home so im sure this car could achieve even better numbers then this! Alantic city expressway was crazy as seen going to Ocean City arriving around 4pm so we took another road and eventully got 73. Heading back to philadelphia we stopped at citgo where the pump had stopped at $17.52 and the man put it up to $18.00 so these results are artifical for the first time ever but they are looking SO promising. Anyway this isn't the only version of this similar product going around so look out there and find something or build your own that will create this Vortex right before the air goes into the engine. I mean RIGHT before!!! not near the MAF sensor or anything but RIGHT before!!! This thing looks like it's going to save me some bucks if I keep my vehicle. Anyway you all probly think im crazy, but these results are crazy!

Not to cast dispersions.. or anything... but how much of the "vortex" stock do you own.

as to important... I think the Raw Furry dawg was much less impotant.... ;) ;)

25-30%...........RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII IIIGHT! This iz da poopie, best evar, it even defies physics, perhaps the designer can also design a perpetual motion machine.

Gas mileage is affected by so many things. You'd be amazed how much it can change by just taking it a little easier on the gas pedal, or driving more highway and less city, or not idling too much...ect...ect. Being the owner of a 98 Outback, I see nothing crazy about any of the MPG you've posted. Your "best ever" of 23.44 is lower than my best ever of just over 27.....and I didn't waste my time or money on some revolutionary device:)

Yes now that link is definitely better than the first one. It's just too bad that half the stuff is now missing from that thread.

TomsSVX 07-25-2005 09:16 PM

unless you install 2 of them right before the throttle body I do not seeing this helping an svx...ever. With the split intake like ours. this would only cause turbulance and mess things up.
