Original Owners??
 

Any one else here an original owner? Bought ours new in 1992. A pearlie, it has a few minor bumper scrapes but otherwise its perfect.

How many miles are on it? :)

Hi Earl - we have 189,000 miles, all drive by either me or my husband. It made one trip to California and back and everything else was local.

Two or three original owners posted in the recent "how long have you owned you car" thread.

Just curious are you still on your first transmission?

Just replaced the tranny about 2 months ago. Replaced rear left bearing twice, replaced radiator about a year ago and replaced left front exhaust (w/converter) about 2 months ago. Thats it for major stuff however the brakes do chatter somewhat, guess the rotors are warped. Otherwise nothing too major, not bad for a 15 year old car. Best looking auto on the road.

I'm the first owner of our Black '92. I bought it through the local Subaru Dealership who found it sitting on a lot in Oregon in 1993. Had 12 miles on it. I flew up with the Mrs. and drove it home. Best trip of my life. Still have it but am selling, 68,000 miles.

Oh geez, why are you selling it? We got ours from a dealer in Phila. who had a small showroom and it was sitting there all by itself and he was really happy to get rid of it. We still love it. Make sure you sell it to someone who will love it - maybe Earl.

The woman in my town with a bordeaux bought it off the showroom floor. She walked in, fell in love, and drove it home

My husband saw it in the newspaper, fell in love with it. Called all over Phila. to find one without leather and spoiler. Found one, went over to Philly and bought it. Have never regretted it.

I think Tom has seen this pearlie before during his trips from LBI to philly... Isnt Voorhees not too far from Cherry Hill?

Yes, Voorhees is right next to Cherry Hill. There is also another Pearlie in the area however ours has no sun roof or spoiler and I don't know who has the other one.
