Auckland - ANZAC Meet 2010 + Pics
 

Hey all.. the year is marching on, Autumn is upon us and Easter will soon be here... I think it's about time we get a group of SVX's together for a meetup, maybe a cruise followed by some cold amber fluid somewhere nice...

Any takers?? Suggestions for dates?

Boy-o-boy, I thought we had a new member (NEWSVX) in NZ - till I saw the location....

So are we to meet somewhere in Auckland, where there is plenty of parking, last time HAIRY met me at Mt. Victoria - took a couple of very nice shots with city in the background, then we headed back to my place at Torbay for some liquid refreshments.

I was at Matua vineyard last weekend - Not in the red SVX thank goodness.

Only to come across the Falcon (Boss) club, with 260, 270, 280, 290 & 300 stickers on the bonnets (inches or KWs ?).

We could also be "refined" and head out for a wine?.

My 2 pennies worth of suggestions...

I wish! It has been a longtime dream to visit NZ - especially to see Trevor (we have become good friends via the network and email), but it would be great to see all of the other SVX folks there as well .....

Maybe one day .....

We would be ready for Reading except for the fact that an SVX is not amphibious. :D

If we have a local get together, we will have to drink to Reading.;)

Re timing, I'll be around over Easter weekend but am away 9-17th April...

Any objections to Saturday April 3rd? Meet somewhere central, say Cornwall Park or the Museum Domain??

Sorry - but I am out of town with overseas visitor that weekend - any other weekend would suit me just fine - I will leave it up to others to arrange place / time .............. I will be there but not on the 3rd.

Well seeing as there is not many of us here it'd be better to make a date to suit everyone. I like Trevor's idea of coinciding with Reading (Apr 16-18) but I'm away until the 17th so that doesn't really work for me unfortunately, unless I get permission from the minister (of war and finance) to meet up on the 18th.

Any other ideas, suggestions?
