My waiting is all but over...

After thousands spent and years of waiting I finally have my "black hole" again. Paint, windshield, door, and side panel. I got it on Monday but had to work the last couple days so I couldn't get the time to clean the dust off and take pics until now. I also need to get the hood sprayed one more time and one more overall buff job in a few weeks to make everything perfect. With the choice of any color of the rainbow I went from the origional black with the burgundy pearl to gloss jet black. On Monday my rims and tires come in, I am going to have to sell one of my kidneys soon if I'mma keep going with this! But hey, I could be putting my money into a Chevy Cavalier, drugs, or something equivalent (sorry if I offend).

Check out the pics, and let me know what you guys think. I just washed it and had to take the pics before the sun set. The rest are in my locker.

Oh yeah, should have put that up as well. :D
The major body parts were free thanks to my fanstastic Subaru dealership.
That included the whole door shell, wheel well, plastic side skirts, and the whole rear left side panel. They also threw in what appears to be a WRX bumper as well. ALL NEW!!!!
Molding for the driver's side window and that running board on the bottom was about $500. It was $1,800 for the bodywork (painting, installation of parts, etc.) $400 for a brand new hood. So the total before that hunk of expensive glass was $2,700! $3,700 with it! And I just spent another $1,000 today on rims and tires. I have to get full coverage now... :(

Great job. I am sure it was worth the kedney! As you have probably noticed, there are several of us who only have one, or other body parts missing. :D :D  :)
