power steering line
 

i was tring to find a power steering leak when i noticed the high pressure line had some fluid on it, the i noticed its buldgeing about halfway down....anyone know a place to start looking for a new line, or go straight to the delear? also i though maybe i can just have one made buy someone who makes high pressure lines?

My pressure PS line just started to leak as well. It had a pin hole in it, and just oozed our slowly, but still leaked. I could not find the leak for a while, but finally found the tiny little hole. I ordered a new line from subaruparts.com. It was aprox $76.00. Good luck.:)

change both lines while your at it. On my Svx the pressure line on pass side back by the firewall started one day, bought the replacement from the dealer, and aboutg 2 weeks later the return, much smaller pre-formed line also started a leak $15 I think. Once done they should last another 100K milez ! :)

Good idea. I had just changed the low pressure return line, and now the pressure line is leaking. It would be best to change both at the same time.:rolleyes:

you know, i just did the low pressure line at the end of last year, i did it with a straight piece of hose, cheeper yet! but the only place i found the pressure line was subaru for $100, and cause i dont wanna wate lone 15% more for next day,
