r32 skyline head lights?

will R32 skyline head lights fit a svx? i was watching this drift video with my friend and i was looking at the head light and they looked almost identical to ours. so i was wondering if they would fit or if anyone would know.

What's the point.

I started i thread about putting different cars headlights into the svx, let me tell you now, most people are against it. I for one think it would be awsome. And i have yet to see anybody to do it or attempt to.

I don't know why you would want to. If you are SVXObsessed, why are you trying to change it? :)

I think the clear lenses look just fine. Infact, my headlights look better than many newer cars

I think the closest looking headlights to the skyline would have to be from Danny's silver svx. He did a great job when he modified his hood, grill, and lights........Did I mention it's all SVX :D :D

+ Vynil + FiberGlass = Happy SVX :D

SVX + other manufacturer's parts = Sad SVX :(

Thanks Matt for your comment... ;)

Well, the clear corner headlights do look somewhat like the R32 ones.

But still the R32 headlights have a pearlie and smooth sort of look to them that would look cool on the SVX. I don't know much but I someone could be around on this forum who is refusing to say something.:p

Common people, most SVX modders stuff enough Nissan parts into their SVX as is, whats wrong with putting some Nissan stuff on it?:D

I actually saw one in Japan, this guy's SVX with R32 headlights and grill. Seemed like he did it without any mods. The corner lenses looked like SVX's with clear orange coat.

To be honest, it didn't look good..

I'm sorry but that's just wrong. I guess you should just get a Supra then (glad you don't own a Z), and awdsvxh6 should just get an R32 Skyline. Looking through your locker (thanks for the paper cut-out SVX by the way) I can see where you are coming from  . Me, I'll keep my Z a "Z" and I'll keep hoping I can add a nice non "Rice" SVX to my stable. The non-rice shouldn't be to hard, as MOST SVX owners seem to have good taste.

Peace

I would consider myself to be one of those with good taste :).... I am totally against any form of rice be it taillights, headlights, bodykits, fried rice, white rice....

Naa, I actually like those last two :D:D

Don't get me wrong, I love the Z. But I've never liked those taillights. To me if you don't like something, you change it.

You have G35 wheels on your Z, what's the difference?

Fair enough, The G wheels are 17" as opposed to 16", which will allow me to do a big brake upgrade, and they are 7.5 wide front and 8 wide rear instead of 7.5 all around. The tires on my stockers were shot and I got these on ebay for less than $600 delivered with good tires, so for not much more that the cost of new tires mounted and balanced, I got the whole thing. I changed the tails on my car but to the '99 J-Spec (red and white), still a factory part, and added clear corner markers up front, also factory. So I'm not against a bit of visual updating of the look of a car. Though I 'm not a fan of major body work just for the sake of major body work. The "Z" tails are part of it's heritage, one of the things I find disturbing about the 350z are it's tail lights. Before you were born (early 80's, and age may have something to do with my opinions) I was driving my Dad's '74 260z, it had 2 horizontal bars for the tails, similar to those on the z32, "styling heritage" that relates past models to current, keeping it visually related even though it is a newer car.

Peace
