Selling/Trading in my SVX
 

I am in the market for another car. The SVX just isn't taking it so well anymore.

It's a 92 with well over 200k miles, I believe it's an LS-i, touring package.

If you have time and the money she would be a great car, but I'm mostly selling it as a parts car.

If I get a good enough offer I'll sell it, if not I'm going to trade it in, I won't have a use for 2 cars.

I have pictures in my locker.

I would sell parts myself, but I don't have time and tools to do it myself.

Earl did a thorough "case study" before getting his last SVX.

He checked with his subaru parts sources and found that he could qualify for a special "case" discount on many of his parts, such as oil filters, timing belts, fuel filters, etc., which came 12 to a case. :D

Not exactly. One is mine, one my dad's and one my cousin's.

We may need a parts car for my dad's afterall. (more to come)

any mechanical problems with the car????? please give details!!!.

Yes there are 2 major mechanical problems.

The car smokes at start up, and there is a loud noise in one of the rear wheels, maybe from the differential.

What else do you want to know about the car? It still runs and drives, but like I said before it would be best for a parts car.

what is the color of the smoke???? milage, year, and how long did you have it for??? any work on tranny. or the car???

The smoke is blue-ish. I've owned the car for 3 years. I havn't done any work on the tranny. I've replaced the radiator, alternator,battery,rotors and the tires are about 2 years old. I havn't done any real work to the car.

It has 216k miles on it, and it's a daily driver.
