Go for it. Oh... I suggest these tires are hot. REAL hot!

I would suggest that if the police people show up & ask you, "Do you know this guy"? You answer "Moi?" Non, mon ami".
Expect to pay a "real" tire dealer at least $100 per tire plus install & goodies.

Ron.

Get off the computer and buy them !! You cant go too wrong for buying a set of 4 brand name tires new for $100 in ANY size for that matter.

Kamaleon 08-08-2002 12:10 AM

my thoughts exactly!

squiggy 08-08-2002 04:16 AM

my $.02

GET THEM
GET THEM
GET THEM
If you don't like them slap them up for sale here or on EBAY and you will get at least 150 for them...

Paisan 08-08-2002 06:31 AM

Alternative to those cheap tires are the Yokohama AVS Intermediates. Tire Rack has em on sale for $59/each in 225-50-16. I'm gonna snatch up a set for the SVX as soon as I get it.

Any comments on the AVS Intermediates on the SVX?

Have him mount them and balance them in front of you - they may have a belt shift or other defect in them that renders them unbalanceable. If they check out - go for it!

Pete,

Toyo Proxes is a brand name covering many different types of tires. Similarly, there are many types & prices of tires under the name of Bridgestone Potenza. I bought 4 Toya Proxes T1-S tires mounted & balanced for my SVX. They cost $736-. The T1-S tire is the top of the line performance street tire for Toyo Proxes.

Potenza RE730

What's the opinion of this tire? Costco has um for $125 +

Hot tread design:cool:
