More eBay oddities...

Is it just me, or are the tail lights blacked out w/ either tape or paint?

Also white trunk lid??? I am simply curious about this one...

and his front wheels are on backwards

The lights are probably blacked out with vinyl or something - one of those 'mods' that just drive me nuts. And the deck was probably just repainted white because the owner didn't care for the black-over-pearl look. Why they didn't also paint the roof (and spoiler) I don't know. My guess, given the stupid blacked-out lights, is poor taste.

The description says the exterior is grey, white, and black.

Impossible to tell from the picture what's grey and what's white, but it certainly sounds novel.

I just sent an e-mail to the guy asking for better pictures of the tail lights and more information on the color scheme. I'll update you here if I hear anything from him.

Looks like he changed it to "Gray" exterior and "Gray" interior.

I thought, maybe, he was describing the interior/exterior colors in one line (grey/white/black).

Will be interesting to see what kind of response John gets.

Keep in mind this is the rare inline 6 too.

Also seems that he has fixed that great downfall we all have to address, the rear ball joint;)
