SVX on American Top Gear
 

I just saw the preview for next week's (28 Aug)Top Gear America, and the show is about interesting cars from what looks like the 80's to the 90's. The two cars that I recognized were the teal SVX and a Merkur.

At least where I'm at right now (virginia for work), Tuesday at 9:00 on the history channel. It's a '92, and the commercial makes it sound like they're going to try and sell the cars on the show. The only challenge they showed on the preview is what I'm guessing seeing how well the windows work. They were driving it down the road with the windows down, while being sprayed by a fire truck.

Saw the preview and it put a big smile on my face. Cant wait to watch the SVX win all the challenges! The 3rd car is a Cadillac Allante btw.

Ive owned a Merkur XR4ti and a 91 Allante
and of course still have my SVX
cant wait to see what they have to say about it..
I know its Tv so chances are they will prob poke fun
at all 3 , but we may get lucky as SVX owners and they
may actually give credit where credit is due.

setting my dvr, even though the american top gear is really really bad compared to the original i hope they do the svx its due justice =>

the british one is awesome even my wife loves it, american version is too comercialized and not the best chemistry
