window help PLEASE

k, so my new (used) drivers side front window arrived on saturday...
oh, if you guys forgot, my window was shattered... and the sleeve lock clip broke too....
so basically, i searched and searched... and tried and tried...

i cant get the window installed for anything... i like to imagine myself as pretty logical and intelligent, but with the regulator in place i cant get the window on that track for ANYTHING... and with the window in place i cant get the regulator vertical for anything, what am i doing wrong?! its driving me crazy, its been 2 weeks without a window, i want to put my car back together

please help, thanks

If I remember correctly, the regulator has to go in first. The the window goes in, sliding from "inside" the car, not straight down from the outside.

You removed the positioning gliders up at the top?

should've asked you in the first place... i had one of those guides off, the other one didnt seem to be giving me the trouble, but i was in fact trying from the outside still... thanks for the advice, when i get home i'll try again...

That piece of glass has been sitting apart for a while. It's been a while since I had a door apart, but I seem to remember that it worked better when curling the window in from the inside.
