What's wrong with this Shelby Mustang?
Any vintage Shelby fans that can tell me what's wrong with this pic of a 1967-ish Shelby Mustang I snapped at the store the other day? Something isn't quite right about the front end--

It really looks like a 1968 Shelby GT 350. I think it had a front collision that was badly repaired, seems not to be really straight.

What's with the headlight covers? Those are too simetrical to be shadows.
The Drivers side of the front lip on the hood is sliding down somewhat. I can't tell in your picture if there is a side marker below, and behind the front bumper. |

Yeah I studied those headlights for a while- it actually looks like someone's put headlights in from the current mustang and reshaped the headlight buckets and nose around them-- the lamps themselves are much smaller than original but similar to the current model. I don't know why anyone would mess up an otherwise nice GT350 like that-- unless it's just a replica.

It's pretty close for a Replica.
I had a Fastback pull up on me one day, and it just didn't look right, so I asked, and the passenger said it was a composition of three years of styles. It was unusual, but still a very tasteful build. |

The chassis is arched if I am not mistaken. The front end definitely is not right. And the rear fender was also adjusted. Right above the side fender vent, there metal works seem to have a lot of bondoooooooooooooo..
