Re: Fiberglass intakes
That would potentially work if I had not used drywall tape and plaster to keep the noodle in the shape that I needed it..... Going to the garage now to do some more fiberglassing and get some more pics possibly...

Re: Fiberglass intakes
Very interesting intake! Good luck with it and I hope it works out well. Looking forward to reading how it works out with the Hydra. What is the diameter of both of the pipes leading to the throttle bodies? 2.75", 2.5" or 2.25"?

Re: Fiberglass intakes
Part of the MacGyver tool kit! I made a great flood standing tripod to hang a part on for painting.

Re: Fiberglass intakes
I made them but then made a second set out of steel that are just the right angled bend off of the throttle bodies... I am going to be using the latter...

Re: Fiberglass intakes
how many hoses HAVE to be connected to the intake ?? what can I get away with???
It seems kinda hard to make an aftermarket intake because there are so many things that connect to it?? if you do the dual intakes how do you know what hose to connect to what intake?? how do you make the nipple thingies?? Sorry for the dumb questions... I'm still such a newb... |
