What the list price of a 1997 SVX?
 

I'm just curious as to what the list price of a 1997 SVX was since the bidding seems to be very high on the one at eBay at the moment

First. sit down and take a deep breath.

I could not find the window sticker, but I remember the number $36,871-.
I paid $29,247.47. That includes $934.31 in taxes & licensing and $1190-for the Subaru Gold extended warranty. The price also includes the cost of the two-tone, dual pinstipe which was painted on. The date was 9/27/97.
The car was located at a dealership around Baltimore and driven up to suburban Phila. where I bought it. It had 204 miles on it when it was delivered.

Pretty steep....here, the last cars retailed in the mid $80K's (AUD) but I have an ad from a dealership showing one for sale ay $15,000 below list....that was in the last days of SVX-dom here.

Looks like the ebay one is, factoring in the age of the car and the passing of time relative to the price, almost selling for what it would cost new:confused:
