In 12 years of driving this car I don't think I ever HEARD the fuel pump. but then again I may not be listening. What are the symptoms...? I ask because I recently had some starting issues that turned out to be a cam angle sensor that had me checking the fuel pump also. |

Re: Fuel pump not getting power
I disconnected the in line to the filter and there is no fuel flowing through the hose.
Does anyone know where the ground wire is to the fuel pump? Is it under the passenger back seat like on legacies? |
Re: Fuel pump not getting power

Re: Fuel pump not getting power
Is there an alarm or immobiliser system that cuts power to the fuel pump?
Any codes from the ECU? |
Re: Fuel pump not getting power
Did you maybe replace the filter recently? Maybe the lines were mixed. Try switching the feed and return lines going to the engine.

Clearly an electrical connector getting a little hot after 20 years must be the manufacturer's fault. |
Re: Fuel pump not getting power
Yes, clearly it is.
