SVX in Russia
Hey, you can get an SVX in Russia, even. (I like his wheels.)

Could be another venue on our 2003 meet. How about it boys?

A fellow from Hong Kong sent me that image a few months ago..either he or the Russians are 'borrowing' photos!!
Some speed runs across the tundra would be nice!! James |
Trans-Siberian tranny
One thing about those runs across Siberia....
....you wouldn't have to worry about tranny temps! :D "Oil cooler? Nyet! We use preheater!" |
It makes me wonder how well the SVX I saw in Kuwait stands up to that heat... especially since stop signs lights and speed limits are all only 'suggestions'.
Ever been in an SUV at 183 clicks? I have and I was behind the wheel, was fun :-) |
that car was in great condition......
i liked his wheels too. is that color available here? i didnt recognize it. perhaps he had it repainted.

Wondering?!
Hello!
I just wonder that there are such cars in the eastern europe western asia area. I have also seen one who sells his SVX in Poland. He wanted to have $ 30.000,--! --> incredible. But these countries are more or less poor. There is no really middle class family like we know in middle of europe or from US. On the one hand there are the rich ones and on the other hand there are the poor people. So, to see a SVX in Russia is very rare. ( I think so) The car on the picture seems in very good shape (optical). But also the other cars in the background. So is it really a Russian car-place? mfg hrc |

Appears to be the same colour as mine, What do you think Joe?

But probably. This looks to have a purple hue to it, very like the silver you see on SType Jaguars. Most likely the colour hue is wrong in the photo or digital copy. Your colour is really nice, has a dark tungsten grey in it to offset the brightness. The later silvers are a good approximation of aluminium paint. Joe:) |
does anyone know the factory name.....
of the color? i might consider painting my svx that color. it looks like a gunmetal grey.

Check with Andy on the colour. It is a gunmetal type, and easy to like. You can see some photos of his 92 in my locker from the UK meet folder. Joe:) |

The colour is Liquid Silver. Only available on the early cars I believe. Polishes up well and does not show the dirt. I noticed that the roof in the photo is colour-coded, but I believe that they only came in black over? Any experts out there know for sure? Andy |
I am not sure if the non US cars are in Liquid silver. I know that only 92s were in that colour in the US. I may be wrong. Like all 92 (excpet teal) they are all black over what ever colour in the US. :( But the european version came with the same body colour on top.
