PCV Valve
When I open my hood to check the oil the dipstick is always pushed out about an inch or so. I think I read somewhere that this means you PCV valve needs replaced. If that is the case then where is the PCV valve? Is it easy for anyone to change?

Re: PCV Valve
Common problem. First step, change the O-ring on the dip stick. The valve is under the black piece of plastic on the manifold, and from what Ive heard, it is not an easy thing to get to. Try the O-ring trick first, that fixed it for me.

Re: PCV Valve
The most common problem is the O-Ring like Dennis mentioned above. It gest brittle and allows the vibration to move the dipstick up. :)

Re: PCV Valve
Thats an easy fix...like 10 mins and 10 bucks from pretty much any parts store. Personally my dip stick has been poking out for over 2 years now...Still havn't lost a drop of oil form it so I say don't fix what ain't broke if you know what I mean ;)
