fl_svx 05-26-2005 06:59 PM

Oh WOW did you see the Cabrio they have listed !!!!!! Outstanding !!!! You gotta see this site....methinks, even though I don't read Hungarian, they may be 'artist conceptions'...and that Legacy ACE....jeez...I want one of each, even the Justy.

i wish they made a 2 door legacy gt. it would be like a m3.

or any turbo charged car with 2 doors.

THAWA 05-26-2005 10:26 PM

That used to be an S401

And wouldn't a coupe GT be more like an M5?

There's a bunch of 2 door turbo subies.

Budfreak 05-27-2005 07:19 AM

PLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASEPLEASE BUILD THAT 2 DOOR!!!!!! that is the most beautiful and yet completely beastly thing i've ever laid my eyes on! subaru needs this car in america right now! watch it tear the new mustang and gto down!

Tony117s 05-27-2005 07:25 AM

i'm pretty sure all those are photoshopped

Budfreak 05-27-2005 07:46 AM

when i get time i'm gonna try to get that photo to subaru. i might even "improve" a few things on it first. i 'll make it a little more svx. then i'll give them both examples cause the original would probally be a lot cheaper to build since alot of parts would look to be shared with the legacy. i've been telling this to my wife since the new legacy came out that they should build a 2 door version and call it svx which was what made seeing that picture really cool:D i see this as a great idea and i think it needs to be built.

Virtual Tuning

They are definitely photoshopped. The credit to "Hammer Virtual Tuning" is a dead giveaway.

that is a JDM Legacy (RSK?) that somebody photochopped into a 2-door, with an SVX front plate, SVX-style windows, and a WRX-style hood scoop. here's an un-chopped Leggy RSK:

THAWA 05-27-2005 01:56 PM

That's a picture of a regular RSK, the chopped picture started as an s401.

Ah, but there's already a supercar in the works, built off Impreza parts...

Budfreak 05-28-2005 10:20 AM

i sent an email to subaru yesterday with the link for that picture of the 2 door and told them they must build it!here's the reply:
Dear Mr. Russell:

Thank you for visiting the Subaru Web site and for your message. We appreciate your enthusiasm with and loyalty to Subaru products. Your kind words are greatly appreciated by Subaru of America.

We are happy to learn that you are enjoying your 1992 SVX. Quite a unique vehicle you have there! At this time, there are no plans to reintroduce the SVX model line. While I do not think it very likely, it is not impossible for us to offer this model line again in the future. Your message will be forwarded to our Product Planning Department as a suggestion to do just that.

I do not have the opportunity at this time to check out the link you provided. When I do, I will check it out, as I am curious as to what this vehicle looks like. Thanks for passing it along to us.

Thank you for the opportunity to be of assistance. If you need any future assistance, please feel free to contact us again.

Best wishes,

John J. Mergen

YOUR ORIGINAL MAIL:

I am a very proud owner of a 1992 svx ls-l. it is a super car and i love every second i spend behind the wheel of it. this is the first foreign vehicle i've ever owned and it definitely won't be the last subaru. more svx's and hopefully a few legacys or imprezas as well. but my perpose of this is to ask you to please make a huge and profitable business move and build this car:http://hvtm.totalcar.hu/index.php3?...carID=88&show=1 i'm not sure what it is but it says it's an svx but it seems to be a 2 door legacy with svx windows. it's the most beautiful and yet beastly thing i've ever seen! please build it for america. i think you could wipe out the mustang and gto with ease. i'd give up every paycheck for 4 years for one in a heartbeat. anyway, love the new legacy gt and and waiting for other future products but i'll really be waiting to see if you took my advice. if you do, sign me up! your loyal customer, Jason Russell

What was the address ? Maybe we could get all 3,000 members to send him a little note, My 92 is getting tired andIi don't have a clue what I would get that would even be a close 3rd. I drove my friends 2005 Out Back loaded $32,000 car and it was not impressive. I drive my wifes 2004 Acura TL $35,500 not impressed. I want a 2006 SVX.
