Year: 1997 Make: Subaru Model: Legacy Brighton History: Purchased November 2006 as a winter beater so the teg could stay out of the snow/salt and such, and so i could enjoying driving driving in the winter a little more. being a brighton it lacked a tach so the first thing was buy another cluster and toss that in. then made a custom grille for it and painted the steelies. over the summer of 2007 i removed much of the interior for cleaning. previous owner had a dog in there all the time, so there is more hair in that car than i care to describe. also had a go with the famous "$50 paint job", i went the route with interlux topside boat paint. im very happy with the results tho it could still use some more time and effort into it to be better. also added an ebay intake at this time. Winter 07-08, got a set of 94 turbo legacy wheels and Blizzak revo tires. it is now a beast in the snow and on the ice. other recent installs include a GroupA light weight crank pulley and a kartboy short shifter. Goals: get the eg33 in it and continue to enjoy it! Those are pretty tight, that Lego will FLY with the EG33 in it! What's wrong with the SVX? Rust bucket? You might want to fix it and keep it, they do really well in the snow.

Re: New to the forum, here are my cars!
Would you post the VIN, color, miles, trim, etc here so I can get your car on the owners list even if you are going to part it out. Thanks

Re: New to the forum, here are my cars!
Kyle,
Welcome to the Network! The teg is very, very clean and the Legacy looks like fun! Looking forward to your "adventures" putting the EG33 in it  -Bill p.s. make sure to take the entire wiring harness out of the SVX, you'll need it for the Legacy. |
Re: New to the forum, here are my cars!
^ yea, i know, thats the other reason for finding a complete car. my friend chux ( as seen riding passenger in the last few pics i put up and at www.numbchuxconversions.com ) will be doing the harness merge for me as he has done a couple of them with imprezas already.
besides the harness merge, all i really need to worry about is a custom radiator since i dont feel like cutting up and destroy my entire radiator support. Thanks for the welcome! |
