All Aluminium Radiator. Anyone know where?
You wonder where as I did? Old Tom(SVXFiles) as I lucked out. He has become a vender but might be a bit before he can start carrying more without group buying. Pictures of mine will be up. Fitment is great. Only need is shaving down of mounting bushings. Tools needed? 10 and 12 MM sockets or wrentches and maybe a 3/4 in wrench to looses the tranni lines if they don't want to come out. Took me around 3hrs only cause of trying to get the pass side fan back in. Go from underneith and save the time.
Okay so I blew my radiator half way up Mt. Washington.:( Now I need a new one and really want an all aluminium one as we have the over heating issues to start with. So doesn't anyone know where to find one to order without getting one custom made. I could have sworen AFBeefcake has one but I can't get ahold of him yet to check. Any help would be greatly apreciated and I'm sure plenty of others would be interested as well. -Gaddis |

Great looking radiator... only concern right now is the 16lb cap vs 13lb cap. Will be putting it in tomorrow. |

Does anyone know if the ones that are being listed on ebay are from the first batch that I think had a problem with how high the neck was???

Re: All Aluminium Radiator. Anyone know where?
Just finished putting mine in... ran out of daylight... as always
The one I got had no issues with clearance... however had a lot of hassle fitting on the hoses running from the engine as the fans left no room for the hoses to slip on... will have pictures up later but in words: the tranny cooler "nipples" and the drain plug are pretty close on the bottom... same with the upper and lower outlets and inlets for the engine hoses... so if you mount the fans and then attempt to get the hoses on... you will phail unless you cut some plastic on the fans (which I didn't really feel like doing)... so what I did was mount the rad into the car then get the hoses on then get the fans on... worked out fine... didn't run the car yet... Tomorrow will have to get a tiny hose clamp for the overflow hose as the nipple on the radiator is probably about half the size in diameter as the stock one and also will get more coolant... |

I can add some extra candy if you want? That night I went to the dragstrip and caught a vid of a new 09 GT-R. Didn't run wouldn't pass tech with the snapped lug bolt but watched a few budies go down. http://s307.photobucket.com/albums/n...P1000308-1.flv -Gaddis |

Re: All Aluminium Radiator. Anyone know where?
Seraphin... did you have issues with clearing the hood? Surprised that you had to modify bushings in order to install it
Mine had no problems at all.. weird. -Sov13t. |

I retrofited one for my svx...I believe it was originally for an older mustang. The pic is before I finished the top mounts. It's in the car now...cools perfect. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...e/Radiator.jpg
