I wish I knew what this stuff did so I'd know if I would benefit from it, lol.

To get more than 250 engine HP we need to use a modified, or different fuel mapping system./
The least expensive way is to use a LAN/ECUTune stage2,version7,
or stage 2version(aggressive)
along with a 370cc injector set, and a Z31 MAF.:)
You need to have mors CONTROLLED fuel, and delivery to make more that 250 hp.
Will this set up on its own make more HP?

Yes, if you use the higher RPMs it allows, or have other mods that allow more fuel use for more power.

I am about to add a stage2/aggressive, 370 injectors, Z31, LAN cams, and a worthy clutch to The Racer.
If I did not have the Stage2/something something, the Z31, the 370cc injectors, the cams, would just cause the car to fall flat on its face, even with the headers and hi flow exhaust.
So far the only other real choise is YT's stand alone.

Thanks for the information Tom. Maybe this is something I'd benefit from.. Might look into it soon if nobody buys it and after I get my exhaust done..

You should pick it up anyway ;) great way to speed 520$!

Well just cause I said I might get it doesn't mean it's set in stone so if anyone else wants it, step up.

Although this is something I've been thinking about since I saw the post, I still have to finish this exhaust work, finally buy subwoofer boxes, and then maybe this.

This entire setup is the same as a Hydra?

...no. it is not a standalone ECU. It is designed to run the Z32 MAF and injectors that are included. As far as I know, you cannot run your stock MAF with the ECUtune software. I would ask LAN any questions you have on this stuff.

Thanks for the info. I just might do that so I can find out if it will benifit me with my stock setup and custom intake and exhaust.

I believe it will give you more power. The maps in the ECU are tuned more aggressively and the bigger injectors will support more fuel delivery. I don't know how much it will improve a stock engine though. Wish I could help more.

Re: ECUtune Stage 2v7 full kit

It will give you more power than the stage 1 because of the extra fuel, the MAF, and the different maps. You'll definitely notice it, but it was designed for people with forced induction or built N/A engines. So depending on what your future plans are, this would either be a good deal on a good mod, or a good deal on something you'll need eventually.

If i had the money this would be mine, but being a poor college kid... Oh well

paynter, good luck.
