Does anybody know of a source for parts in the UK - preferably somewhere that doesn,t charge a fortune!

Try eBay for s/h bits. New parts are usually cheaper from the USA, and arrive faster. Most net suppliers are happy to send to the UK.

Brake parts are available from 3rd party suppliers like http://www.performancebrakes.co.uk. Although the SVX is not listed, they can supply.

I bought the engine from them, but I don't need the power steering pump. [usually the engine sells without ancilliaries anyway]

Give them a call, they should have the pump. This is a JDM car, and it is likely the pump is the electronic speed sensitive type, which would be correct for your car if yours is UK.
