Airbag Dash changeover. LSI to LS
 

Hi, I want to switch the parts car dash I recently acquired to my cars dasboard. Mine has driver only airbags and the other has both front airbags. What would I have to switch and where is the part I switch. Im thinking of changing the whole wiring harness bt I think that may be a little too drastic. Help please.

Just change the dash and don't worry about the airbag.

I remember looking and bidding on an el camino that had an Iroc Z Interior. Looked great but only half the features were switched over to be functional. Needless to say after I won the car and finding endless other flaws I didnt take the vehicle. I just hate knowing something is just superficial; almost like a bad friend. I would think its just an extra plugin or just swap computers? I have almost the whole trunk stripped so Im slowly moving forward. Looking for some advice for whats ahead.

i really dont much about changing the airbag but all i know is that you should temper with the airbag withought diconnecting the airbag first...(might pop in your face)other than that good luck with it

It's possible that the necessary wiring may be missing. I wouldn't want to be splicing wires into the airbag circuit!

Hopefully you'd never have to use the airbags anyway.
