Just been on this forum for five years and never seen so much spam.

I shall keep my post SVX related from now on.

Spam comes in waves on this forum, because new accounts are activated by one or two mods, rather than immediately after registration (which is far from ideal, but let's not get into that...) so these spam accounts get an email saying they're activated, so they come and post their garbage here. Overreacting a wee bit maybe, it'll be cleaned up and the spam accounts banned in no time. The greater problem of account activation taking a very long time for real people, and a large number of spam accounts still getting through, still needs to be addressed eventually though...

If you feel the need to take an action, the only thing to do really is to report the offending posts.
