six speed swap starter

For those wh have completed a six speed swap into their SVX.... What starter motor did you end up using and what did you do for the lower mount bolt on the starter who's threads in the EG block do not line up with the bolt hole in the six spoeed bellhousing?

MY SVX starter motor doesn't fit the six speed spigot and I sold my WRX starter motor with the five speed a few months back :(

Eg33/six speed in WRX almost complete

Re: six speed swap starter

Use a 10x1.25 stud w/ a helicoil in the bellhousing

Any mt starter for a suby will work

DOH! I feel like a dummy for not thinking of that myself. Probably have 20 of that pitch coil/time cert sitting on top of my toolbox. :o haha

Thank for the tip, just have to get a starter now.
