OT: GT3 is pretty, but I miss the SVX
 

Gran Turismo 3 is friggin' gorgeous. Holy cow, does it look good. My play time was cut short because I had to exchange the brand-new PS2 (go ahead and laugh - I am making PS2 games and I didn't actually HAVE a PS2 until last night) for one that worked, but what I played was fantastic.

And tomorrow? British GP qualifying! Woohoo! Excuse my excitement, but I've never actually seen F1 qualifying.

I disagree. Don't get me wrong - I think Williams is on their way to winning form once again. But I think McLaren should not be counted out.

Plus they're on the top of the time sheets for today's practice while Willams did no better than 8th. :)

GT3, is clearly the best racing game ever, sound, handling, faithfully reproduced. The even went so far as to make the sound from each tire come out of each of your four speakers (if surround sound it hooked up) and you can hear when they start to go bad. In case you are wondering what this is, its Gran Turismo 3 for the Playstation2, it just came out this week. . but yes, no more SVX, they didnt include it in the game :(
