After all that it still runs like a champ lol. I ordered a new rim and popped on a new fender and turn signal so far. My friends getting a deal on the body work ( just $250 to get the dings and what not out on top of a $800 single color paint job).

I was wondering if anyone had trustworthy sites where I could order after market parts ( like clear head light lenses, bumpers , etc). I'm treating my SVX likes its Robocop and my names OCP. :)

Oh and I was wondering if I should keep it laguna blue or spring for something new lol ^_^

Ouch. Glad no one was hurt.

Keep it Blue! There are many reasons why. You'll kick yourself later otherwise.

ensteele 03-03-2008 04:43 PM

I agree with Mike. Keep it Laguna Blue. :)

What happened exactly?

JaySVX 03-03-2008 05:55 PM

If it was my area, it would have been the bus driver's fault. they haul around like it's nobody's business...

Sorry to hear that, those are nice rims too, and the car looks in good shape. Good luck on getting it strait again.

We were both at a light making a left , I was on the inside and the bus decided it should start turning early and I guess I ended up in their blind spot.

The messed up thing is that it was just rub damage at first, then after five seconds they decided it would be best to keep going...like the problem was going to fix itself >_<

Interesting fact : didn't know the side mirrors were collapsible, saved me from more expensive repairs lol.

does anyone know if this is a respectable site?

You hurt the bus more than it hurt you. you need a fender, bumper, and corner light...easy work.
the corner of the under bus storage unt is bent to a retzle....itll cost them a pretty penny to weld in a new one of those :)

The title sounded much worse than the actual damage. I was expecting much worse, but glad to see it's fixable.

:p

lol

and the insurance companies say its a no fault claim, and I can't afford any legal battles with a company :(

NikFu S. 03-03-2008 10:40 PM

Faultless because it was non-impact? Lame.

Buses fault, tbh.

JaySVX 03-04-2008 03:14 AM

I hate insurance companies so much... they know it's the DOT's fault, but the DOT will never admit it, and hte insurance company to lazy to go after them, so you eat the bill.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
