Fog or 'Parade' lights
 

a 2 part question
1] I am considering fitting additional fog lights into the front bumper, and use them in conjunction with the current switch I have in my SVX for the day running lights, see attached pic of another SVX with lights fitted into bumper. Would this switch be able to cope with the "load' 2 spots might need, over and above the parking lights current load...? I would also like to use these when the headlights on as needed ...
and
2] with this 'day running' light switch, could this be changed to have a timer added ?? so that say after 10 mins after ignition is off and keys removed that these lights then turn themselves off.., as currently these lights stay on until your battery is flat..:rolleyes:

There's been a few posts about adding on foglights before.

I added some on, and tied them into the parking lights. I tapped in to the wire going to the corner turn signal thingy...

They come on if I turn the "light switch" one click, or if i turn the parking light button on.

They also flash with alarm set/disarm :D .

Here's a pic.

Oh yeah...they've been on there for over a year, with ZERO problems. The circuit can most definately support them.
