need some audio/electronics help
 

i just got back from my month-long roadtrip to find that my mixer is putting out significantly decreased volume levels from the main and aux. outputs.. the tape output still puts out a good level, but there's no volume knob to control the tape output level.

does anyone know anything about this sort of stuff? will some contact spray on the outputs help??

Try this spray called "Corrosion X". I use it on my electronics. It seems to work great. :) If you're talking about the 'slider' type level controls, it might be that they're just dirty/corroded, and are offering a bit more resistance than normal.
