Carfax "Crankshaft replaced/repaired"

There is a '94 listed on Autotrader in Virginia. The Carfax shows "crankshaft replaced/repaired" 4 times (41,43,45, and 59K); the car now has 101K miles.

Any thoughts as to what this might have been? Would the 4th fix have been the "charm"?
