Headlights lens loosing getting dull?

Over a course of a year or so, I'm noticing that my lights aren't reaching as far out as they used to. I don't know if my front end is sagging or the plastic piece in front of the headlights is losing their clarity. The suspension feels fine and passes the bounce test. What're some of your doing with the aging plastic in front of the headlights? I've heard in the past of folks using liquid solutions to bring the clarity back. If I were to replace these things, pls point to me to your favorite vendors!

Thanks.

I used some metal polish (chrome trim cleaner) to remove the haze from the plastic. It looks prettier, but I don't think it make a noticable difference to the amount of light hitting the road.

In order to clean the inside of the lenses, you need to pop them in the oven or use a hot air gun to melt the glue that holds them together.

If your bulbs appear really dim then measure the voltage across the bulbs with a meter. Maybe you have a poor connection?

Phil.
