different pace SVX
 

Guys, how many SVXes are turned into pace/police cars?

I am aware of the PPG purple pace, I posted the white pace in Japan, and somewhere, I have seen a yellow pace SVX -- if I recall correctly.

Anyone else aware of how many were made/converted? Since pace car subject came out on the meet thread, I thought I might ask people here.

That would be a sight to see....althought I don't think it would serve its function as a pace car if Randy was driving behind.....if he didn't ram the offending coloured car out of the way, then he would probably overtake it!:D

Bring on yellow SVX's for all!!!

Well...the mission went as follows:

My girlfriend and I (ok...I alone) convinced my friend to drive us out to the dealership (about 1/2 hours drive away) - he has a 328 BMW coupe which he is unfortunately selling so I won't get to see the SVX -v- 328 grudge match (I have a magazine comparison of the two somewhere....must post it)...anyways

We get there and cruise by....Cass (g/f) HATES yellow cars (a kindred spirit Randy!!) and Chad was curious to see it in yellow.....both voiced negative sentiments.

We hopped out and had a look and since they had not yet shut, I thought we could hang around and then take some photos (stops them calling the police!)

But no.....Chad grabs the camera and starts taking FLASH photos....I run away since I may have to eventually buy a car from there and don't want to be equated with a psycho stalker of SVX's (moi?? :D ) and hide down the road...eventually they come and pick me up (sitting on a kerb looking like I was up to no good) and they said that they had good stories if anyone questioned them:

Cass: "My friend wants to buy one but has never seen one and is working today so I am taking a photo. (6 marks out of 10)"

Chad: "I have a bet with my friend that no-one would build something as ridiculous looking as this....I just made $100 (10 out of 10)"

Its growing on me but it is LOUD!!!!

Anyways, I will get the photos developed and put them up.

Mission accomplished....opps, the constabulary approaches!:(
