Pic request, bronze wheels on silver SVX

I'm looking at some FN01R-C's for the car because they're super cheap and super light. I was thinking silver, but then started thinking bronze. I tried google but couldn't find any silver/black top SVX's with bronze wheels. Think the colors will clash too much?

wow nice looking wheels.

Ricochet 08-11-2005 09:49 PM

I know, and they weigh 15-17lbs and cost around $180/ea!
I'm looking for 17x7, +48mm offset. Is that the best size? Should I get 17x8 for the rear?

Here is a three tone from the ItalianDesign archives (Light silver/dark silver body, black roof and no spoiler.) SO HERE IS THE CAR...

Sorry to say, but your link doesn't work. :(

What link? I have the SVX and the wheels embedded into the post as IMG files. I can see them fine. I assume everyone else can see them

I'd say 17x7.5 or 17x8 all around would be your best bet. 8" only on the rear would be pointless and just mess up your transmission.

You might want to consider Rota wheels. Also light, even less expensive, and available in a large variety of styles and colors.

If you look on eBay, Suby Dude is selling 17x8" et48 5x114.3 Boosts and Torques for $611 + shipping. An eBay store called Garage Star USA has 17x8" Rota Torques for $529 + shipping. Now that is inexpensive! Both the Torque and the Boost weigh about 19 lbs. I just ordered a set of bronze Torques for my SVX earlier today.

FN01R-Cs are nice wheels. Too bad every @sshole yo-boy 240SX kid with a credit card has 'em on their JDM tyte Y0!!! rides. Kind of devalues them.

Anyhow:

So, every Honda and wrx has Rotas.. If I cared about what everybody else likes I wouldn't have bought an SVX. Anyways thanks all for the photochops but I was looking for a real pic. Tofu, I edited your picture and darkened them to almost their real color.

It looks pretty clean imo, but they stand out too much. I want the entire car to be easy on the eyes without one thing standing out more than the other. I guess my search continues..

Silvers

In my opinion, it is no contest. The silvers win hands down. :)
