Where is Larry iii?

I'm just curious since he was such a mainstay on this site;
I haven't checked in in awhile, and HELLO to all that remember me!:D

Rotorflyr 07-02-2004 10:44 AM

To answer the question,
Larry is around, and I do believe he is frequenting the Yahoo club a bit more often (at least lately) I pop in there to read thread's on occasion but never post there (just don't care for the format style of Yahoo/MSN groups)
Try droping him a PM, might get you a quicker response as to what he is up too.....:D

SVXRide 07-02-2004 12:50 PM

Yeah, I noticed that he's living over at the Yahoo site....

LarryIII 07-02-2004 06:00 PM

Hey guys,

I'm still bi-postual. I post here and on Yahoo for the SVXes.

I also post on the Yahoo Outback Headquarters for our OB wagon.

Pearlywhites,

Thanks for asking abouty me. I'm here alot but life has been hectic lately.

Ditto.

We've, been quite busy.
Now I'm at work (thank the Lord) and glad of it (I'm sleep-workingwhich is like sleep-walking).
I spent the 4 day holiday (Fri., Sat., Sun, & Mon.) painting the wood trim (windows) on the house. Our windows are the old style wooden ones with removable alum. storm windows. Most of the house has alum. siding & brick., but the wood trim needs painting. I preped the areas last weekend and painted for 2 days. Then I scraped and washed windows for the next 2 days.
I used a new type of exterior paint. It is Sherwin Williams latex called 'Duration.' It supposed to last forever. If I get 10 years, I'll be happy. The old paint was MAB 'Sea Shore' which is oil based. I let it go 8 years, which is too long. It was a little rough in spots.
I'm getting too old for this stuff.

Someday, I hope to find time to work on my SVXes.

Tell me about it! I have the same type house, that needs
the same work done to it....only I have a four year old and a two year old running around: boys no less! Anyway Larry, you have
replaced your low-beams at some point I'm guessing, and Dayle
from Motorsport Warehouse was nice enough to get me some immediately, now are they simple- twist 90' removal like most cars? I know, pop the hood and look, right? I'm lazy.....
or resourceful, you choose. TIA!

:D

Tim

You just twist 1/4 turn to get the lights out. There is a plug that can be unclipped first or afterwords. If you are standing in front of the car and leaning over the bumper, the right light would twist toward the right side of the car (drivers side). The left light will twist in the same direction (toward the drivers side of the car) Happy twisting. :)

Pearlywhites1992 07-06-2004 12:42 PM

Happy twisting.

Thank You! (Envious of your 6 in a row......)

Hi Tim

Good to see you around again.

With all those young boys running around, I can see you've been busy.:D

Nice to see an old timer [figuratively speaking] checking in.

Joe:)

Pearlywhites1992 07-06-2004 07:03 PM

Nice to see an old timer

Thanks Joe!
I've had my car more than four years now I guess,
and love it more every time I drive it. I just got home from
a mountain biking trip, going 80mph, for a LONG time.....
with my bike on the rack....still smooth as glass!
Have a pint on me.
