Somernites Cruise Meet

Been talking with Randy (Aredubjay) and we were thinking about a mini-meet here in Somerset, Ky at the monthly car show (as seen on Horsepower TV) at the August 28th show, it's free to enter your car, (and it doesn't have to be perfect), you can check out the web site at:
http://www.somernitescruise.com/
I figure we could draw in a few members from the surrounding states, and get 10 or more with-in a 4- hour drive.
Post in this thread if you can make it, and bring some chairs to set in;)

The area also has Cumberland Falls (home of the only Moonbow in the northern hemisphere), and Lake Cumberland, a man made lake with over 500 miles of shoreline.
And some of the nicest roads around, running through the Daniel Boone National Forest.

….So anybody interested……

hahaha, that'd be fun but I'm getting the car rebuilt properly... It's gonna look better than it ever did if I can have my way... Unfortunantly though, after it is rebuilt it will be sold... I don't really need a car all that bad

Sounds cool. I'll have to check the calendar but that's close enough for me to make it.

huck369 07-12-2004 07:08 PM

That'd be cool Matt....the more the better

Hey Huck,
Where are you located? I know the town, but what are you near - trying to figure out how close you are to me. Give me a major city and I'll look you up on the map.

Sounds like fun!!

We're 75 miles due south of Lexington, KY on Highway 27, about 30 miles west of I-75....Hope you can make it down

newsvx 07-12-2004 08:19 PM

I'll do some checking, Huck!

Well,
Since I live here, anytime you (or anyone else) can make it to town, I'll try to get freed up so we can have at least 2 SVXes present (mine is the only one registered in this county)

But what better birthday present than hanging out with fellow SVXers and a 1000 or so other cars:D

svxgirl92 07-14-2004 01:00 PM

How do you find out how many are registered in a county????
