SVX won't start after installing new aftermarket stereo
 

Hi there,

I installed a new JVC double DIN receiver today in my 92 SVX. Followed the fantastically detailed instructions that are placed on this site. Had no problems and took my time. Stereo works perfectly in all respects. However, when I was testing it all out, I noticed that the car would not start (no sound at all when I turn the key). As soon as I disconnect the stereo's wiring harness, the SVX starts perfectly. Hook the harness up again and no sound! :confused: (I assume if I had made an error with the wiring that a fuse would have blown causing the stereo not to work or the car not to start at all).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ok, all sorted. Not sure what was wrong, but checked, fiddled, tightened everything and now it's all working like clockwork.
