how do i get the bolt that is above the steering column out?

TomsSVX 09-19-2007 06:16 PM

a ratcheting 12mm wrench is what I use... Also I suggest taking the column out

Tom

jeffast 09-19-2007 07:05 PM

ok, i don't have racheting wrenches, how does one go about pulling (arg) the column

huck369 09-19-2007 07:22 PM

Just unbolt it (the column)from the dash so it can drop down out of the way so you can get to that bolt...
Take out the drivers seat if you haven't already.

Speedklix 09-19-2007 08:03 PM

i did it with the column in and I assure you it will take 10 times longer.

jeffast 09-19-2007 10:50 PM

not what i wanted to hear but thanks for the advice guess i'll pull the column
