A few weeks ago, I mentioned the possibility of a US GP SVX meet. Here's the basic idea:

The US GP is over the September 29/30 weekend. I plan on attending for both Saturday and Sunday.

I have ticket info - and you can, too, by visiting www.brickyard.com. I'm talking with a friend of mine who was at last year's GP about which of the available sections are the best.

Tickets will run anywhere from $20 ro $80. No, I guess we don't have to get the whole group sitting together.

That's it. Post here if you're interested. Right now I have three interested people, including myself.

Oh, and my wife says that if any other wives tag along, but aren't interested in the race, she'll be glad to go 'shopping.'

As I posted on Yahoo, we are going to the race. We'll be there friday thru Monday but I'm pretty much committed to doing stuff with the group I'm with but maybe I could take time out to meet up with anyone who goes to the meet.
True, tickets are still available but hotels might be a problem at this late stage. Typically you will find that they require a three night minimum at $125 to $150 per night 30 to 50 miles from the track. We are staying in Frankfurt which I think is about 50 miles out.
I hadn't planned on taking the SVX but hey, if its a meet I could change my mind.

US Grand Prix
 

I will be attending the race as well. I arrive on Friday and will depart Sunday after the race. Since I will be driving the SVX anyways, seems like a good idea for those of us attending to at least have a quick get together.
