Rims...Offset
 

Has anyone ever seen rims for our cars that have a offset close to the 55 that is stock....

I see a lot of 40 and 42..

has anyone had issues using 40 or 42?

There are rims with offsets that are >= 50 mm, but they are generally very expensive ($250+ per wheel). If you're willing to settle for a 48 mm offset, Rota has a number of wheels that are $150 or less that fit the SVX.

This is one great site....

Check with Dayle, SVX-Motorsport, he has several wheels that fit and work well on the SVX for around $400-425 a set. many of the SVX wheels are already shown on his site.

Hi. I'm actually on the Eastside of the the state, but I do get over to Seattle on occasion. There are pics in my locker of my car with Subzero's mounted.

Here are the Rota wheels that I've been able to find that fit the SVX:

Fitment: 17x7.5", 48 mm offset, 5x114.3 bolt pattern, lugcentric (not an issue)

* Subzero, 17.5 lbs
* Downshift, 18.5 lbs
* Attack, about 17.5 lbs
* Tarmac (45 mm offset), 16.5 lbs
* Action, 17 lbs

Rota has also just released a new wheel calle the "Torque" which is a 17x8" wheel and comes in a 48 mm offset. I expect that it will be available soon in the 5x114.3 mm bolt pattern.

You'll have to look around on the net to find pics. Search google with "Rota" and then the wheel names.
