NY skyline with the SVX
 

Ok, so you probably can't even tell where my car is in these but... i am 3rd from the left. I'm waitin to the photographer from last night to get the rest of the pics up so you can get a better veiw of the SVX but, this is a preview... see if ya can see my car ;) .

Is there one with just the SVX? I got my color laser printer for this year. See where this is going?

I had some taken, not surehow they came out, when he gets back to me with the pics i'll let ya know... Otherwise i'll drag him and his camera out there another night :)

Your pictures are great. They brought back many memories. Back when we were in college, Rosie and I used to frequent the Ravenswood/Astoria area alot. In fact we bowled at Astoria lanes and Steinway lanes. The area in your photos was known as the 'Orchestra'. It was a favorite lover's lane (make-out) parking spot at the time. There was another one directly under the Triboro bridge at a higher level. It was known as the 'Balcony'. Back around 1964-1965 there was a little hydrofoil ferry that used to run in the East River, right by the area where you're parked. It went from lower Manhattan to the World's Fair in Flushing. Every time it came by it sounded like a jet plane.

If a few of us SVX would wanna meet up over there for the photo opportunity i'm sure we could do that, it's really pretty!! It'd make a great calendar shot ;)

I'm in i'm in i'm in! :D I took some ny shots a few weeks ago but I was in weehawken nj but I couldnt figure out how to get my car down onto the lower streets....
