Brass (double-male) barb connector.. .

Can I use a BRASS double-male barb connector to connect ends of AT fluid lines. Is it compatible with the ATF? I previously hooked two AT lines together (between cooler and campaign filter) with a scrap aluminum tube with lip on one end only .. IT CAME OFF ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO.. SPILLING ATF EVERYWHERE ON MY WAY HOME FROM WORK! Ha!

Thanks.. :D

You should be able to get a good properly barbed connector in aluminum.

Try an avoid a yellow metal like brass in a system (flow circuit) comprised mainly of aluminum. Steel would be a better choice if you can't find aluminum.
