Feeler: Another south Jersey meet?
 

August 12th at Freedom Fields County Park, Tuckerton, NJ, 08087

I must start off by saying, that the winter south jersey meet Tom organizes is a blast, and he has done a good job with it. If this gets enough intrest I will probly end up asking him for help if he is intrested. But for now, its just a feeler
I was thinking something like a summer barbeque meet would be good. Theres a few nice parks in the area, one in particular is extreamly easy to get to and is practically deserted most of the time. They have barbeque pits, ect. Freedom Fields County Park is the place, though it isnt set in stone. Actually if anyone knows a better place it would be appreciated
I was thinking sometime in late July (Yeah, its a short notice one) Just for the sakes of the insane humidity in august. Once again on the location...somewhere with a lake or somewhere to wim would probly work out best.
I know theres like 800 gajillion svx owners in new jersey that would be at least partially intrested in going. And hell, even if nobody really wanted to go, just the tuckerton crew would make it a half a meet (Giving anyone intrested a reason to go in the first place)
So if anyone is intrested, has any input, questions, comments, querys, exclamations, telegrams, or just feel like typing things in the inapropriate location, feel free to do so. Lets see what we can come up with!

Sounds like a good idea....i think most people will agree. I haven't seen you guys in a long time...especially Tom.

Okay...Im thinking the first weekend of August. Planning Saturday August 12th, rain date august 13th. Location is still yet to be decided. If it turns out that like...2 people...show up, hell, ill just do it in my back yard. Of course, there will be alot more people intrested:o :D So a larger location is yet to be set in stone.
As far as whats going to happen:Plan to show up between 10 and 11ish,. Around lunchtime Ill be cooking some delicious hamburgers, hand made of course (Not them frozen ****s),some deviled eggs, macaroni salad, and putting up some chips, soda, ect. So hell, if for nothin else show up for some food:) There will be basic sitting around and talking about car kinda stuff.
I would plan a nice scenic drive, but for a short notice meet like this its kindof pointless. Besides which, theres not much to see in my town except alot of tourists that cant drive, and mabey even the state bird; the majestic flying plastic bag

Hmm....Think its time to start advertising on the other thigies. Ive noticed more and more jersey people over the last few weeks than before. Mabey any of them ,who are some kinda shy and dont look in the meet section, may be intrested, but just dont know where to look...

Tom, have fun in san diego. Hopefully guest makes you his guest and takes you out bar hopping west coast style when your done;) :D

The swap shouldn't take more than 2-3 days at most but to be sure we are taking precautions. I have worked in Military based shops and I know they are very well equiped. Anyway it should be fun and sorry I will miss the meet. If it was a week later I would prob be able to make it and show you guys what has changed with the wheels

Seems there is alot of mabeys...Would moving the date back another week be a good idea? I mean, the weather would be that much hotter (And more humid too) but if it means more people can come, then so be it
