Nice, that is a sweet looking box. I've been thinking to get big heatsink like that for the graphics card, just to match the CPU and NB heatpipe towers. Next re-build I might go water cooling. But for now what I have is still very much overkill. Hell, there are heatpipes on the northbridge.

Such a good looking car.

I am not a fan of white, but it is actually more and more appealing to me on the SVX.

And the cloud side skirts and front splitters, and all that stuff... The car should have looked like that from the factory, not just the show car, but ALL of them.

I wish I could have afforded to buy that car, but I am glad Icing has it, and is taking good care of it.

Yea, I'm a firm believer that the wife should have a nicer car than me. (At least to her). So she has a new 08 Lancer GTS, and I have the SVX. Although lately she's been driving the SVX just for kicks a lot.

Solar: Yea, it spends about 90% of nights in the garage. I wish I had had a bigger budget and could have kept the side skirts and all.

So this car has had an interesting life so far:
The first owner pampered it by apparently never driving it.
The second owner (SolarSVX) pampered it by making it gorgeous.
The third owner (me) is a poorish college student who's keeping it in as good of shape as possible. But I have been doing some different upgrades to give it a little sportier handling.

That Pearlie is exceptional...... its hard to make the SVX look any better than it already does, but that style is very clean.

Where can one source those skirts and front splitters??

I remember seeing pictures of this car back when Solar owned it. (I've lurked here for years). It definitely was the most beautiful SVX I've ever seen, what happened to it? It just looks like a regular, average SVX now... :(
