Part # for rebuilt axles
Does anyone have the part number for Subaru rebuilt axles for awd SVX's? The Subaru dealer in Greenville claims they don't exist, but others on this forum have recommended them. This dealer leaves a lot to be desired, but they are close. If I can hand the parts guy a part number maybe he can give me a price quote.

Clean, simple, accurate. Perfect.:D Thanks, Thom C. |
Rebuilt Axles - Manufacturers?
OK. "The List" has recommended I go with rebuilt front axle assemblies. "The List" has also recommended I go with Subaru's remanufactured axles because of reliablility.
However, Sube's remanufactured axles cost almost as much as new ones ($277 vs $370 for new). Everyone else is charging about $65. Now I know that you get what you pay for, but FOUR TIMES as much gives me pause. Most of the rebuilts seem to come from a company called ACEI. I found another one on the 'net called MW Enterprises which claims to specialize in Sube rebuilt axles. Does anyone have experience with either ACEI or MW Enterprises rebuilt axles, and (obviously) if so what was the experience? TIA, Thom C. |
Raxles, the only way to go. Google for them. Tell em you're from the list also-Jeff in NY sent you. Lifetime guarantess and nice guys-they yelled to the guys in the back
"do a pair of SVX, guys" while Iwas on the phone-like a diner waitress. |
Try Raxles. The best anywhere.
