2.5L engine help
My brother got a 1997 Legacy outback limited the other day and it randomly stalls and sounds like a misfire.
1.Had the battery checked and it read it needs a charge 2. Cel light is burnt out so we took it to get checked and got these 3. cylinder 1,2,3,4 misfire 4. cylinder 1 injector voltage low 5. iac valve (forgot to plug it back in when I started the car) 6. knock sensor Now before we got these I swapped the air filter, maf, checked tps which was at .46 so addjusted it to .5-.51v, swapped the ignition module on the intake. Car ran good when he got it but now after adjusting the tps got all this. Also i'm getting an AT oil light flashing on startup which his trans fluid is a little overfilled and burnt smelling which were flushing and adding new. Any ideas? Sitting in park it sounds fine but take it around the block it loses all power then kick back on like nothing happened. |
Re: 2.5L engine help
Thanks for the help:/ but I fixed it. Was a combination of bad plugs, knock sensor, fuel issues.
