Hey, there was a high speed chase someone in a stolen laguna blue.

If my comp has to sit and buffer stuff like that from a site.. all I get is the audio and still screen shots at about 20 sec intervals.. grr

That was all over the news here all night last night and through the morning news today, all channels. Stuff like this just doesn't happen much around here. There was probably more video of an SVX in this than in every other TV show or movie combined. (is that good or bad?) It's okay though since the driver wasn't the owner and no one was seriously hurt.

One channel had coverage last night where they actually interviewed the couple that owned the stolen SVX, the husband had already gone and got it and DROVE it home (which should say something for the fortitude of the SVX considering all it went through in that chase). They were pretty upset at all the damage, and described it as a "specialty car with all wheel drive" that they had purchased in Canada for special ski trips and such. It was cool to see they were enthusiasts, although sad at the same time considering what that creep did to their car.

The guy seemed like he didn't understand the "power" system of the car. The other cars would not have had a chance of catching him. And the car didn't look too bad at the end. What was he doing? asking directions? haha and vigilanties, they could have caused more harm then good.
